Detroit, MI (September 21, 2023) – At least one person was hurt in a collision involving two or three vehicles on Thursday, September 21, while traveling east on Interstate 94 in the city of Detroit.
An accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 close to the Concord Road exit at around 6:00 a.m. Upon arrival, officers from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office found that two or three drivers were involved in the crash. However, they first refused to provide further information on the number of victims and the incident’s circumstances.
Emergency medical technicians were sent to the scene to assess the wounded, though information on the severity of the wounds and the victims’ current condition has not been made public.
The collaborative investigation by the Detroit police and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is still ongoing despite the lack of any new information.
We are thinking of the wounded victims and their families.
Detroit’s Multi-Driver Accidents
According to statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there is an automobile accident somewhere in the United States every ten to fifteen seconds. It should come as no surprise, given the depressing statistics for both Michigan and the United States, that the great majority of personal injury cases now being considered in our courts are related to automotive accidents.
If you were involved in a vehicle accident and the case seems simple, and you don’t feel hurt, you should still speak with a lawyer. According to research, if you are a plaintiff in court, having legal counsel may increase your payout. It’s true that a lot of victims worry about the potentially excessive cost of retaining legal counsel. Furthermore, the vast majority of personal injury lawyers handle cases on a contingency fee basis.
In a variety of circumstances, having legal counsel may be advantageous. In negotiations with the insurance company and other parties, your attorney will act as your representative. You may rely on your attorney to thoroughly investigate the matter, locate all pertinent parties, and provide a compelling case for you to get compensation for your injuries. Potential witnesses could then be questioned to get further information.
