Kent Co, MI - Man Hit, Seriously Hurt in Train Crash at 68th & Clay

Kent County, MI (September 22, 2023) - On Friday night, a man was critically injured after he was hit by a train in Kent County, according to sheriff's officers.

68th Street and Clay Avenue in Byron Township are entirely blocked due to the incident, which occurred on Friday, September 22, at about 6:00 p.m. in the evening.

Around 7:00 p.m. on Friday, police said that the area would be closed for at least an hour while they investigated the collision. The cause of the incident is still unknown, but officers are continuing their investigation in the interim.
