Detroit, MI (September 23, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in an incident involving two or more vehicles that occurred on westbound Interstate 94 in Detroit on September 23.
There was a collision on westbound I-94 at the Van Dyke Avenue exit about 2:15 p.m. The officers from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office found that there were other vehicles involved in the accident. However, at first, they withheld information concerning the number of victims and the incident's specifics.
Although EMTs were sent to the scene to assess the wounded, no information on the severity of the injuries or the victims' current conditions has been made public.
The investigation by the Detroit Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office is ongoing, but no new information has been made public.
