Detroit, MI (September 23, 2023) - An initial accident warning from the Detroit Police Department states that local police and emergency medical technicians were called to a multi-vehicle incident that happened on Saturday, September 23.
The Michigan State Police also said that they sent police and paramedics to the scene of the collision. Early information from the scene indicates that the crash happened at 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of southbound I-75 and the 11 Mile Road exit. But as of Saturday night, no new details about the fatalities or the events leading up to the disaster had been made public.
Authorities in the Detroit region are still looking into the tragedy in the meantime. Witnesses with further information were asked to come forward.
