Charlotte, MI (September 24, 2023) - On Saturday morning, near Charlotte, Eaton County officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident.
According to a press release released on the Eaton County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page on Sunday afternoon, a collision occurred around 10:00 a.m. between a Ford Taurus heading north and a Kia Soul going southbound on Lansing Road near Kinsel Highway.
A couple in the Kia Soul had been taken to a nearby hospital, where they eventually died. Meanwhile, the two occupants of the Ford Taurus were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No further details were provided, but Charlotte police officers continue to investigate in the interim.
