Detroit, MI (September 24, 2023) - On Sunday morning, September 24, police were called to an accident involving two to three vehicles in the greater Detroit area.
On Sunday at around 7:30 a.m. in the morning, there was an accident on westbound I-696 after the exit to Dequindre Road.
The police report that no one was seriously hurt in the collision, but at least two people were transported to a local hospital as a precaution. One of the motorists was suspected of driving under the influence, though the circumstances immediately prior to the collision are still unclear.
An investigation remains ongoing in the meantime.
