Detroit, MI (October 1, 2023) - The Detroit Police Department sent an initial accident alert and notification on Sunday morning, October 1, reporting that officers and EMTs responded to a crash involving two vehicles.
The Michigan State Police have also reported sending officers and medical personnel to the crash location. Preliminary data suggests that the accident occurred at the intersection of Van Dyke Avenue and 26 Mile Road at around 11:50 a.m. However, no further information on the crash's victims or the circumstances leading up to it has been released.
Authorities in the Detroit area are currently investigating the incident. Additional witnesses were requested to come forward.
