Detroit, MI (October 1, 2023) - On Sunday, October 1, during the earlier morning hours, a collision on westbound I-69 resulted in at least one injury.
The area at Exit 143 and Irish Road was investigated by Detroit Police Department officers, who then initiated a road closure and dispatched local paramedics. Shortly before EMTs arrived at 10:45 a.m., Detroit police officers joined Michigan State Police agents in evaluating the scene.
Although paramedics evaluated the injured at the accident scene, the total number of victims remains unknown. MSP is in command of the investigation and is looking to speak with anyone with relevant information.
