Detroit, MI (October 2, 2023) - On Monday, a 32-year-old man was killed after his vehicle collided with a U-Haul truck on Detroit's Lodge Freeway.
The incident occurred about 3:50 p.m. on southbound M-10 at the intersection of West Grand Boulevard.
Michigan State Police said a call was made to the Detroit Regional Communication Center reporting an accident on the highway.
The 32-year-old driver of a Chevy Cobalt and the driver of a U-Haul box truck collided for unknown reasons. The four people in the Cobalt—three children and an adult—were transferred to the hospital, and the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is now underway, and local officers asked any witnesses to get in touch.
