Detroit, MI (October 6, 2023) - On the evening of Friday, October 6, at least one person was hurt in an accident involving two or three vehicles traveling east on I-94 in Detroit.
At around 11:00 p.m., an accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 after the Mt. Elliott exit and blocked all left lanes. Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies who responded to the scene found evidence of a collision involving at least two drivers, but investigators haven't determined what caused the crash.
Although emergency medical services were sent to the scene, details about the victims' current conditions and the severity of their injuries remain unknown.
The investigation by the Detroit Police Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Office is ongoing, but no new information has been provided to the public at this time.
