Detroit, MI (October 7, 2023) - On the afternoon of Saturday, October 7, at least one person was hurt in an accident involving two or three vehicles at the intersection of 25 Mile Road and Shelby Road,
At around 12:15 p.m., an accident happened in the juncture of 25 Mile Road and Shelby Road, apparently when one of the drivers involved ran a red light. Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies who responded to the scene found evidence of a collision involving at least two drivers, but investigators haven't determined what caused the crash.
Although emergency medical services were sent to the scene, details about the victims' current conditions and the severity of their injuries remain unknown.
The investigation by Macomb officials and the Detroit Police Department is ongoing, but no new information has been provided to the public at this time.
