Detroit, MI (October 8, 2023) - Michigan State troopers say that at least one injury was reported after a motor vehicle crash involving a Detroit Police Department scout car on Sunday evening, October 8.
Michigan State Police responded to an accident alert on Highway 10/Grand Boulevard at about 10:00 p.m. Authorities say that two drivers, including the police officer behind the wheel of the scout car, were involved in the incident.
Both victims suffered injuries, per MSP troopers and Detroit PD officers, who also responded to the scene. EMTs were spotted at the site of the wreck, though it's unclear how many people were hurt.
An investigation remains active, however, and it's unclear what led to the crash.
