Detroit, MI (October 11, 2023) - On the afternoon of Wednesday, October 11, at least one person was hurt in an accident involving two or three vehicles in the area of 12 Mile Road and Van Dyke Avenue.
At around 12:30 p.m., an accident happened at the intersection in front of Walmart, and a rear-end wreck involving an SUV and a sedan with a subsequent rollover occurred. Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies who responded to the scene found evidence of a collision involving at least two drivers, but investigators haven't determined what caused the crash.
Although emergency medical services were sent to the scene, details about the victims' current conditions and the severity of their injuries remain unknown.
The investigation by Macomb officials and the Detroit Police Department is ongoing, but no new information has been provided to the public at this time.
