Detroit, MI - Injuries Reported in Vehicle Wreck on I-96 at Milford

Detroit, MI (October 15, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred on a highway through Detroit on Sunday afternoon, October 15.

The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on eastbound I-96 at Milford Road. The accident scene was closed and reviewed once deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office arrived. That said, authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions.

Although emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital, it is unknown how severe their injuries or current conditions are.

Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate in the meantime.
