Detroit, MI (October 16, 2023) - On Monday afternoon, October 16, at least two vehicles were involved in a multi-car wreck on northbound Interstate 75 through the Detroit area.

Authorities say that two sedans collided on the northbound side of the interstate around 3:00 p.m. on Monday and that it appeared that one of the drivers rear-ended the other after merging into traffic near the exit to 11 Mile Road.

Troopers with the Michigan State Police assessed the scene, along with officers from the Detroit Police Department. Paramedics also evaluated at least one person for injuries, but the total number of persons involved still remains unknown.

Officers are continuing to investigate at this time.
