Tecumseh, MI - Man Hit, Killed By Bus at Allen & Macon Hwy

Tecumseh, MI (October 17, 2023) - On Tuesday morning, a bus operated by Tecumseh Public Schools was involved in a fatal collision.

According to the Lenawee County Sheriff's Office, a 59-year-old man from Clinton Township was hit by a bus at around 7:00 a.m. while standing in the center of Allen Road between Macon Highway and Billmyer Highway.

The bus driver and the children on board were both unharmed. Another bus took the first bus's eight children to school.

The collision has been reported to the Lenawee County Accident Investigation team and is still being looked into at this time. The sheriff's department's victim services team arrived at the site to assist as well, though no further details were recorded by authorities.
