Lansing, MI (October 19, 2023) - A fire at an apartment complex at Haslett and Hagadorn Roads prompted the East Lansing Fire Department and the Meridian Township Fire Department to respond on Thursday morning, October 19.
A maintenance worker at the Eastpoint Townlets apartments called in a fire just before 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, according to a fireman who was at the scene.
There has been no public announcement of deaths or the incident's cause as of 11:30 a.m. Thursday, and it seems the event is under control. A fireman further confirmed one person was hospitalized, but it's unclear how many people were involved or injured.
