Lansing, MI (October 21, 2023) - After a vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon in Lansing Township, Michigan State Police and Eaton County authorities responded to the scene.

Authorities blocked West St. Joseph Street at its junction with Hungerford Street. Sgt. Sean Taylor of the Lansing Township Police Department said that they received the 911 call at around 2:10 p.m. MSP and Eaton County responded to the collision since LTPD was responding to another incident in the area.

Though it's unclear how many people were hurt in the incident, a handful of EMTs responded and reportedly transferred those who were seriously injured from the scene.

Officials plan to release further details as they become available. An investigation is still ongoing at this time.
