Windsor, MI (October 22, 2023) - Several fire departments were fighting a blaze in Windsor Township on Sunday, October 22, according to reports from local authorities.

The fire forced the closure of Billwood Highway west of Creyts Road.

However, there has been no public announcement of deaths or the incident's cause as of late Sunday evening, and it's unclear how the fire started at this time. A fireman further confirmed one person was hospitalized, but it's unclear how many total people were involved or injured.

An inquiry is still active in the meantime.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their families. We hope for their full recovery.
