Detroit, MI (October 23, 2023) - After two vehicles collided in a highway accident on Monday morning, October 23, police restricted traffic to the left shoulder and several right lanes of Interstate 75.

A handful of Michigan state troopers arrived in the vicinity of northbound Interstate 75 and the Livernois Road exit near downtown Detroit at around 11:00 a.m.

According to the police, at least one of the drivers was traveling too quickly for roadway conditions before losing control of their car and colliding with two or three other vehicles.

Firefighters from Detroit and state troopers from Michigan were there for several hours, though the total number of injuries victims is unknown. An investigation is active in the meantime.

The injured and their families are in our thoughts at this time.
