Detroit, MI - Two-Car Crash Causes Injury at 15 Mile & Hayes

Detroit, MI (October 25, 2023) - The intersection of 15 Mile Road and Hayes was shut down by a multi-vehicle wreck on Wednesday, October 25, and the Detroit Police Department was called to the site of the crash to investigate.

According to a report from the Michigan Department of Transportation for Macomb County, the accident shut down the juncture after an SUV and a large pickup truck collided in the area. Just before 5:00 p.m., the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police arrived at the site to begin their investigation.

The Detroit Police Department also sought emergency medical help, as at least one person sustained injuries. However, it is presently unclear how many people were hurt.

Detectives from the DPD are completing their inquiry and looking for any witnesses who may have further information. No new information has been given since then.
