Detroit, MI (October 30, 2023) - After several drivers collided in a local accident on Saturday, October 28, police restricted traffic along Central Street in Detroit and requested backup from local paramedics.
A handful of Michigan state troopers arrived at Central Street at around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday night after receiving reports of the crash.
According to the police, at least one of the drivers was speeding as traffic slowed in the area, which caused the driver to collide with two or three other vehicles. One fatality was confirmed at the scene.
Firefighters from Detroit and state troopers from Michigan were there for several hours, though the total number of injuries to the victims involved is unknown.
An investigation is active in the meantime.
