Detroit, MI (October 31, 2023) - A 25-year-old Detroit woman was hit and injured on Tuesday morning, October 31, while crossing Hall Road westbound at North Branch Street.
Authorities say the woman was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition. The motorist stayed at the site and called emergency services right away. Detroit officials are looking for additional witnesses in connection with the incident but say that alcohol was not an apparent factor in the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown, but DPD authorities continue to investigate in the interim.
