Detroit, MI (November 2, 2023) - All lanes at a local intersection and roundabout were shut down by a bus accident on Thursday, November 2, and the Detroit Police Department was called to the site of the crash to investigate.

According to a report from the Michigan Department of Transportation for Macomb County, the accident involved a car and school bus at 19 Mile Road and Romeo Plank Road. Just before 5:40 p.m., the Detroit Police Department and the Michigan State Police arrived at the site to begin their investigation.

The Detroit Police Department also sought emergency medical help, as at least one person sustained injuries. However, it is presently unclear how many people were hurt.

Detectives from the DPD are completing their inquiry and looking for any witnesses who may have further information. No new information has been given since then.

We are thinking about the injured victims and their loved ones at this time, and we hope for their full recovery.
