Detroit, MI (November 2, 2023) - At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple drivers that occurred along a roadway in Detroit on Thursday evening, November 2.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the 11 Mile Road Service Drive at Greenfield Road. The accident scene was cordoned off once the Macomb County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived, and both directions of the roadway were eventually shut down after a passenger vehicle and truck collided, causing the sedan to overturn.

Authorities did not release specific details about the crash's victims and their conditions, but emergency medical responders were sent to the scene to evaluate the victims and bring those seriously injured to the hospital.

Deputies and local law enforcement are now interviewing potential witnesses and continuing to investigate.
