Detroit, MI (November 3, 2023) - A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle and seriously injured in the greater Detroit area on Friday, November 3, according to officers at the scene.
Authorities say the victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition shortly after the wreck occurred, around 12:30 p.m. The driver reportedly stayed at the scene of the wreck in the meantime, which was located on English Drive between Metro Parkway and Ryan. Detroit officials are looking for additional witnesses in connection with the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown, but DPD authorities continue to investigate in the interim.
