Detroit, MI (November 3, 2023) - Police are seeking assistance identifying the motorist involved in a deadly hit and run on Detroit's West Side on Sunday.
Officers with the Detroit Police Department say that the incident happened on Sunday around 1:30 a.m. at Grand River Avenue and Patton Street. According to authorities, a blue Ford Explorer with gray trim left the scene after hitting a 29-year-old woman who had been crossing the roadway.
Despite life-saving measures attempted by EMTs, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses with additional information were asked to call Crime Stoppers. The incident remains under active investigation at this time.
