Detroit, MI (November 5, 2023) - A local roadway reopened late on Sunday afternoon, November 5, after a collision that happened in the greater Detroit region, according to local authorities in the area.

There was a multi-hour closure on southbound Interstate 75 near 14 Mile Road, officers added.

Just before 3:00 p.m., the area was cleared for traffic. At least one individual was injured, prompting the Oakland County Sheriff's Office to call for an ambulance. The exact number of casualties, however, remains unknown at this time.

Detectives are wrapping up their investigation and interviewing potential witnesses. In the interim, no other details have been revealed.
