Detroit, MI (November 7, 2023) - An unidentified victim was struck by a vehicle while bicycling in Detroit on Tuesday, November 7, resulting in their hospitalization.
Officers with the Detroit Police Department responded to the intersection of Hall Road and Heydenreich after fielding reports of the incident around 5:30 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the driver of a passenger vehicle hit the victim, sending them to the hospital in serious condition. Police arrived at the scene shortly thereafter to investigate but did not release specific details about those involved.
An investigation remains ongoing in the interim, and DPD officers have not said whether citations or charges were pending.
