Detroit, MI (November 7, 2023) - Traffic delays occurred on Tuesday afternoon, November 7, after a crash on a local Detroit roadway, according to authorities who responded.
Both directions of Highway 131 were shut down between Reynolds Road and Lamb Road around 6:30 p.m. after the crash. It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, or if anyone was injured, though multiple emergency vehicles were on the scene, authorities stated.
The total number of injured victims is unknown, but EMTs were spotted at the scene by local news footage.
Highway patrol officers urged motorists to choose an alternative route as the on-scene investigation proceeded. MSP troopers asked any witnesses to get in touch.
