Detroit, MI (November 7, 2023) - An injury-causing accident occurred in greater Detroit on Tuesday, November 7, according to local authorities.

A westbound car on I-696 collided with another vehicle after the Southfield Road exit at around 6:05 p.m., Detroit Police said in a news release. It's unclear how many people were hurt, but paramedics responded and assessed those who were injured at the scene.

An investigation is still ongoing, though officers have not released further details in connection with the wreck.
