Detroit, MI (November 9, 2023) - A vehicle accident and subsequent fire occurred in the greater Detriot area on Thursday, November 9, according to local authorities who responded to the scene.
At least two vehicles were involved in the incident, which took place on Interstate 696 eastbound after the exit and transition ramp to Mound Road. EMTs were seen assessing victims, and firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze, but the severity of the victims' injuries remains unknown.
