Wyoming, MI (November 12, 2023) - The Wyoming Fire Department reports that on Saturday afternoon, a fire broke out in a garage and quickly spread to a nearby house.

At around 3:45 p.m., firefighters were sent to the garage in the 2000 block of Wyoming Avenue, where they discovered flames that had extended to the next house. The Wyoming Fire Department reports that there were no serious injuries, but at least two people were assessed for wounds by local paramedics.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and saved the remainder of the house from destruction. The Red Cross is assisting the homeowners while authorities investigate the cause of the fire.
