Detroit, MI - Multi-Vehicle Collision w/Injuries on M-10 at 9 Mile Rd

Detroit, MI (November 20, 2023) - On Monday, November 20, a collision on southbound Michigan 10 resulted in injuries and major traffic backups in the area. The multi-vehicle collision involved at least two drivers and took place near the exit to 9 Mile Road, just before 6:45 p.m. Though the ultimate cause of the wreck remains unknown, EMTs and other first responders were seen evaluating victims shortly after the incident occurred. The total number of victims is also unclear at this time. An investigation is ongoing, and the Detroit PD put out a call for witnesses to assist.
