Detroit, MI (November 23, 2023) - A woman riding a bicycle at a local intersection was hit and killed on Wednesday evening, November 22, according to authorities. At around 10:05 p.m. on Wednesday, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a bicycle accident close to the junction of Harper Road and Glenwood Avenue in Detroit. The events leading up to the crash remain unclear, but a woman on a bicycle was reportedly struck by an unknown driver at the intersection. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMTs shortly thereafter. The sheriff's office is asking anybody with information to contact them.
