Kalamazoo, MI (November 24, 2023) - According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a woman from Portage passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a three-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon.

Per a press release from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, police were sent to the 3600 block of Stadium Drive, which is west of Meadow View Drive, at around 12:15 p.m. on Friday, November 24. The incident involved three cars and four people. The 22-year-old Portage woman was seriously hurt in the collision and later died at a local hospital. Two other persons involved sustained injuries that are not life-threatening, while one person remains in critical condition, stated authorities. Witnesses were asked to call the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety if they had any information about the incident.
