Madison Heights, MI (November 26, 2023) - Late Saturday afternoon in Madison Heights, a woman in her 70s lost her life in a head-on collision.
A westbound motorist crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by a 77-year-old woman, who was traveling east on 14 Mile Road between John R and Dequindre Roads. The woman was declared dead at the site of the accident, shortly after first responders arrived, according to police authorities. The events leading up to the collision remain unclear, and the extent of the second driver's injuries is also unknown. Witnesses were asked to contact the Madison Heights Police Department at their earliest convenience.
