Warren, MI (November 26, 2023) - According to officials with the Detroit Fire Department, a handful of victims were rescued from a home fire that occurred on Sunday, November 26. A house on 14 Mile Road near the Schoenherr Freeway in Warren caught fire at around 5:00 p.m. in the early evening. At least one person was rescued by crews and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation, according to officials. At this time, there is little information available about the cause of the blaze or whether any other residents were hurt since the fire is still being investigated. Officials are continuing their inquiry at this time.
