Detroit, MI – MSP Responds to Crash on I-275 at Ann Arbor Rd

Detroit, MI (February 22, 2024) – Officers with the Michigan State Police were dispatched to provide help at the scene of a crash that occurred on Wednesday morning in Wayne County. Officials were notified of the accident at approximately 11:50 a.m. on February 22.

Law enforcement reports show that vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 275, prompting the closure of the roadway just before Exit 28 at Ann Arbor Road. The Michigan Department of Transportation reported delays throughout the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. At least one person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where they were treated for injuries following the crash. Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
