Almont Twp., MI – Two Killed in Head-On Crash on Hough Rd at M-53

Almont Twp., MI (February 25, 2024) – The moment police confirmed that two people died as a result of a head-on collision that occurred on Thursday evening, February 22. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident just before 7:00 p.m.

According to official reports, a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling north on Michigan 53 when it collided with a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe at the intersection of Hough Road. The 67-year-old male driving the Dodge and the 91-year-old man driving the Chevrolet both sustained fatal injuries. The two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The police department is currently investigating the accident.
