Detroit, MI – Car Crash with Injuries on M-39 near McNichols Rd

Detroit, MI (March 5, 2024) – At around 11:30 p.m. on March 2, the Michigan State Police were notified that they were needed at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Detroit and ended in injuries. The accident blocked several lanes on the southbound side of Michigan 39.

Preliminary reports indicate that a collision blocked the left lane and left shoulder of the highway near McNichols Road. The police responded and closed down the roadway as they worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to care for the injured parties. Those who required further medical attention were transported to local hospitals. The police department is currently investigating to determine what caused this accident to take place.
