Flint, MI (March 17, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported near the Genesee packaging company on Saturday morning ended in injuries. Calls for assistance were received by the Flint Police Department, firefighters, and EMS at around 9:00 a.m. on March 16.
Official reports show that a collision occurred in the 1100 block of North Averill Avenue. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. Those who required further medical care were provided with transportation to area hospitals by ambulance. The Flint Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
