Dearborn Heights, MI – Woman Killed in Tow Truck Crash on Van Born Rd

Dearborn Heights, MI (April 4, 2024) – A woman lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Dearborn Heights on Tuesday afternoon, April 2. The crash was reported to law enforcement at around 3:30 p.m.

According to official reports, a tow truck was traveling west on Van Born Road during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area of Gulley Road, it collided with a passenger vehicle, which was turning northbound at the intersection. A 31-year-old man involved in the accident was transported to a Metro Detroit hospital for emergency treatment.  A 27-year-old female and a 24-year-old male were both transported to a hospital in the Metro Detroit area. The woman passed away from her injuries after arriving. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
