Macomb, MI – Crash blocks I-696 W near Gratiot Ave, Injuries Follow

Sterling Heights, MI (April 18, 2024) – The Sterling Heights police and firefighters were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon and ended in injuries. The collision took place at around 3:50 p.m. on April 17.

Official reports indicate that a vehicle made a turn in front of a second vehicle at the intersection of Canal Road and Goldberg Drive. As a result, the two vehicles collided. One person involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital for medical care and evaluation. At this time, the police department is investigating the accident.
