Plainfield Twp., MI – One Hurt in Rollover Crash on US-131

Plainfield Twp., MI (April 30, 2024) – The Michigan State Police confirmed that one person was transported to an area hospital with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Plainfield Township on Monday morning, April 29.

According to official reports, at around 11:35 a.m., a pickup truck rear-ended two additional vehicles on US Highway 131. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn on the northbound side of the roadway near West River Drive. A 55-year-old man involved in the crash was seriously injured. The victim was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical care. Two additional victims were treated for injuries on site. The accident is being investigated.
