Commerce Twp., MI – Motorcyclist Killed in Sleeth Rd Crash

Commerce Twp., MI (May 18, 2024) – A motorcycle accident reported in Oakland County claimed one person’s life. The collision occurred on Thursday, May 16.

According to reports from the Oakland County Sheriff’s office, a 57-year-old man was riding a Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 westbound on Sleeth Road. For unknown reasons, a Ford Edge made a left turn into the path of the vehicle near Marcello Drive. As a result, both vehicles collided. The driver of the vehicle, a 60-year-old woman, was treated for injuries at the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital by an ambulance from the Commerce Township Fire Department. He passed away from his injuries after arriving. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
