Montcalm Twp, MI –Two Teens Hurt in Truck Wreck on Greenville Rd

Montcalm Twp., MI (December 12, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Macomb Township left two people injured. The collision occurred on Tuesday evening, December 10.

At around 8:20 p.m., a 2019 Peterbilt tractor hauling a loaded box trailer was backing out of a driveway located on Greenville Road. As the vehicle proceeded in reverse, it collided with a vehicle near West Spencer Road. The incident caused severe disruptions throughout the area. Emergency officials responded to the scene to provide assistance. Tow trucks were requested on-site to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway. Emergency medical service units responded to care for injured victims. A 19-year-old male and a 19-year-old female both sustained injuries in the crash. The two victims were transported to area hospitals. At this time, investigations surrounding the cause of the collision are ongoing.
