James Wozniak Injured in LaGrange Car Accident at Oak Grove Rd and Pokagon Hwy.

LaGrange, MI. – A Thursday morning car accident in LaGrange Township left at least two people injured.

According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Oak Grove Road and Pokagon Highway.

24-year-old James Wozniak of Niles was driving a vehicle northbound on Oak Grove when he failed to stop at a posted sign and T-boned a westbound vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Berrien Springs man.

The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway where Wozniak’s vehicle rolled multiple times.

As per the report, both drivers were injured in the accident and were taken to Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in Niles.

Both motorists were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as possible factors in the accident.

The accident is under active investigation.
