Man Killed in Superior Township Crash on M-14 near Vorhies Road

Washtenaw County, MI. – A wrong-way driver was killed in a head-on collision involving a semi-truck on Monday night in Superior Township, Washtenaw County.

The fatal collision happened around 11:05 p.m. on M-14 near Vorhies Road, according to Michigan State Police.

The 26-year-old Whitmore Lake was driving a 2009 Acura MDX west in the eastbound lanes of the freeway when he crashed into a semi-truck.

The unidentified man was killed in the accident.

The 25-year-old Ontario man driving the semi-truck was treated for minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
