Leoni Twp., MI - Teen Killed, Minor Critically Hurt in Page Ave Crash

Leoni Township, MI (May 23, 2025) – An overnight crash in Leoni Township claimed the life of a teenager and left another young person critically injured. The Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety confirmed that the incident occurred around midnight on May 22 along Page Avenue near Portage Road.

Authorities say a 17-year-old student from Napoleon Public Schools was killed in the crash. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. A minor who was a passenger in the vehicle was rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently in critical condition.

Emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash was reported and began their investigation while treating the injured.
